Takeoff, one-third of Migos, was killed in an early morning shooting in Houston, according to TMZ Hip Hop.
According to law enforcement sources and multiple witnesses, the fatal incident occurred shortly after 2:30 a.m., when cops received a call about a man shot at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.
Takeoff and Quavo were said to be playing dice when an altercation erupted, and that’s when someone opened fire, shooting Takeoff… either in the head or near his head. He was declared dead at the scene.
TMZ Hip Hop obtained video from the scene, which shows Quavo (in an orange shirt) and others gathered around Takeoff. They tried to move him at first, but then put him back down, and Quavo yelled for help.
According to police, two other people were shot and taken to the hospital in private vehicles. It’s unclear what their circumstances are. Quavo was not hurt.

Takeoff posted a selfie from the bowling alley just a few hours before the shoot. Earlier that night, Quavo posted a video of himself driving around Houston with Jas Prince, who was celebrating his birthday.
Takeoff, real name Kirshnik Khari Ball, was Migos’ youngest member. Offset was his cousin, and Quavo was his uncle.
They formed as a group in Georgia in 2008 and went on to become multi-platinum hitmakers, with their first major hit, “Versace,” coming out in 2013. In 2016, they topped the Billboard charts with “Bad and Boujee.”
Quavo and Offset’s most recent project as a duo was “Unc & Phew.” On Monday, they released their latest music video, “Messy.”
