At a gathering contentious dancehall musician Shatta Wale was spotted hanging out with multiple award-winning media personality Nana Aba Anamoah.
During a Twitter interview a few weeks ago, Shatta Wale and Serwaa Amihere fell out.
In the panel discussion titled “The Big Conversation with Shatta Wale on Ghana’s Music Industry,” a participant from the audience questioned Shatta Wale about his criticism of the music producers in the sector for not supporting their own projects.
“I want to know, Shatta Wale, with his craft, how he shoots quality videos for himself?” a participant questioned. He just speaks about individuals.
The questioning angered Shatta Wale, who snapped and yelled, “My friend, shut up there!” Who are you to discuss people, anyway? For me to talk about you, who are you? Avoid being a fool. Serwaa, may I ask you if I’ve previously mentioned this boy? Has he ever spoken to me? He cannot possibly say such a thing about people.
Shatta Wale was ordered to stop ranting by the host, Serwaa Amihere, who also threatened to mute him if he didn’t. I can mute you, Shatta Wale. And when Shatta Wale heard it, he snapped back, “Serwaa, if you tell me, you will mute me again; I will cut myself.”
The dancehall musician became incensed when the host questioned his habit of routinely deleting online haters.
“You Serwaa, I don’t think when people insult you, you will like the person. You will block the person for the rest of your life. They are putting up confusion about me all the time; the blogs are always talking about me anyhow. I was at the other side, teaching them that I can come to them at anytime so we can resolve our differences.”
In place of this, many people questioned why Nana Aba would continue to hang out with Shatta Wale following that uncivil outburst.
