The competition lives on and at the just ended BET Awards, Fireboy brags about Nigeria being the best when it comes to Afrobeat music.

In his interview with “Siriusxm The Heat”, he stated that “We (Nigerians) make the best Afrobeat” He further went on to say “We in Nigeria love to excel in everything, we go all out…it’s just fact”
These comes as a big challenge to Ghanaian artists doing Afrobeat music to up their game.
Afrobeat has been recognized globally and gradually changing the trends of music in Africa.
Fireboy statement could be seen as mockery to Ghanaian artists but it’s worth it. Maybe they really deserve the bragging rights.
