Key Details of the OnePlus Pad Go Revealed; SoC and Battery Information Spied Ahead of Launch
The OnePlus Pad Go is scheduled to make its debut on October 6. Initially, the company had teased the tablet’s design and confirmed that it would be available in a Twin Mint color option. While it was previously rumored to have a global launch alongside other new OnePlus products in January 2024, the tablet’s release in India next month has now been officially announced. Additional details about the OnePlus Pad Go have also been officially disclosed. This tablet is expected to be more budget-friendly than the already-released OnePlus Pad.
An Amazon microsite for the OnePlus Pad Go has recently gone live, revealing some essential information about the upcoming tablet. This information has also been updated on the official OnePlus India page. The Pad Go is confirmed to feature a quad-speaker setup and support for Dolby Atmos audio, promising users a cinematic sound experience. The tablet was previously confirmed to sport an 11.35-inch display with a 2.4K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio.
In addition, a user with the handle OneNormalUsername (@1NormalUsername) mentioned that the OnePlus Pad Go is expected to offer an 8GB + 256GB variant with built-in UFS 2.2 storage. The leak also suggested that a 128GB storage option might be available.
The OnePlus Pad Go is also likely to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Both the rear and front camera modules are expected to feature 8-megapixel sensors each. The tablet is expected to house an 8,000mAh battery and come with a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
Furthermore, the leak mentioned that the OnePlus Pad Go is expected to run on a Linux kernel and may be available in both Wi-Fi and cellular variants.
