Popular Nigerian rapper, Jude Lemfani Abaga, also known as M.I Abaga in the entertainment industry, has announced he will stop using the M.I alias in August.
Prior to the release of his new album, the well-regarded rapper announced that he would be retiring the name “M.I Abaga” in a post on his official and verified Twitter page on Thursday, July 7, 2022.
He claims that on Sunday, July 10, 2022, he would perform at “The Vibe” for the final time as M.I. Abaga to honor his history as Africa’s best rapper.

MI Abaga, who made substantial contributions to the hip hop genre, is unquestionably one of Nigeria’s most accomplished and significant musicians. After their collaborative record with AQ, Blaqbonez, and Loose Kaynon, he makes this news.
There are 10 strong tunes on the collaborative studio album “Behold The L.A.M.B,” which also features Oxlade, PsychoYP, Chike, Bien, Khaligraph Jones, and Kojo Cue. The project was made public on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, and has gained a significant following on streaming services.
