Okyeame Kwame’s statement aligns with the high expectations of the #occupyjulorbihouse protesters. In response to the question, “Who do you believe will fix the country?” Okyeame Kwame expressed the belief that no single leader, regardless of their capabilities, can single-handedly resolve all the challenges facing the nation.
He emphasized that if every individual takes responsibility for enhancing their own well-being, fostering a positive mindset, strengthening their families, and achieving success in their careers, it would ultimately benefit the entire country.
Okyeame Kwame’s comments sparked discontent among many Ghanaians who felt that he was absolving the political establishment of its responsibility for the nation’s problems. In his tweet, he encouraged individuals to take charge of improving themselves, starting with their health, mindset, family, and work. He stressed that if everyone contributes by lighting a small flame in their own corners, Ghana would become brighter.
