In anticipation of these sales, the MacBook Air with the M1 chip is currently available at a reduced price in India.
The price of the 8GB + 256GB variant of the MacBook Air M1 laptop has been lowered by 30 percent from its original listed price of Rs. 99,990. As of now, this variant is being offered on Amazon for Rs. 69,990. Customers also have the option to take advantage of additional bank offers and explore the exchange option to potentially further reduce the laptop’s price. Neither Apple nor Amazon has officially confirmed whether this price will remain unchanged during the upcoming sale. The laptop is available in Gold, Silver, and Space Grey color options.
Regarding its specifications, the MacBook Air M1 features a 13.3-inch IPS Retina display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. It is powered by the Apple M1 chip, which includes an 8-core CPU, a 7/8-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It claims to provide an impressive battery life of up to 18 hours and comes pre-installed with MacOS Big Sur.
The laptop offers support for Dolby Atmos-enhanced dual speakers and includes a three-microphone array and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features a Force Touch trackpad, a backlit Magic Keyboard, and is equipped with a Touch ID sensor and an HD FaceTime camera. Furthermore, it offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
Apple has also introduced the MacBook Air with the M2 chip as a successor to the MacBook Air M1. This newer version is available in two sizes, 13-inch and 15-inch, and comes pre-installed with MacOS Monterey.
