The OnePlus Nord 3 could include a large screen and lightning-fast charging

We have yet to hear much about the OnePlus Nord 3, but a fresh leak suggests it will be a substantial boost over the OnePlus Nord 2, with 150W charging being the focus.
That’s according to a Weibo tweet by leaker Digital Chat Station (a Chinese social network). For comparison, the Nord 2 supports 65W charging, which is already relatively fast, and the OnePlus 10 Pro supports 80W charging, so the Nord 3 having nearly twice as much charging power as the OnePlus’s latest flagship would be unusual but not impossible.
The leaker also claims this phone has a 6.7-inch 1080 x 2412 screen, significantly larger than the OnePlus Nord 2’s 6.43-inch display.
The upper mid-range Dimensity 8100 chipset, 12GB of RAM, a 4,500mAh battery, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 16MP front camera, and a triple-lens rear camera with 50MP, 8MP, and 2MP sensors are among the other listed specifications.
For the most part, that all sounds excellent, especially for a mid-range phone, though we’d take it with a grain of salt because it’s a leak. It’s also possible that these specifications are correct, but the phone in issue isn’t the OnePlus Nord 3, as the source doesn’t mention the phone by name.
The mid-range chipset would fit with the Nord range, and the camera specs and battery size are similar to the OnePlus Nord 2, so the Nord 3 is our best estimate, especially since it’s due out in the next few months.
According to research, a phone with 150 watts of power is on the way.
Whether or not this is the OnePlus Nord 3 and the above specifications are correct, one thing is sure: OnePlus will release a phone that supports 150W charging, as the company has stated.
In reality, OnePlus has stated that it will release a phone with a Dimensity 8100 chipset, so that information is likely correct (though OnePlus may be referring to two separate telephones).
The 150W phone is expected to be released in April, May, or June, so the rest of the specs should start to emerge soon. And, given OnePlus’ history of leaking information about its devices ahead of time, there’s a strong possibility we’ll learn much more about the Nord 3 – or whatever this is – very soon.
